    We also offer opportunities to earn certificates such as the Certified Para Optometric (CPO) and American Board of Opticianry (ABO).

    Front Desk Receptionist

    Perform secretarial duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology, insurances and optometry procedures. Duties may include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, collecting demographics, and floating to other areas as needed.

    Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

    1. Know, understand, and demonstrate Axis Vision Care's vision, mission, and values
    2. Team oriented
    3. Communication - ability to communicate with patients and co-workers
    4. Computer skills - ability to work on Microsoft office and our software system
    5. Service orientation - ability and desire to want to help others
    6. Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
    7. Critical thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
    8. Interpersonal - ability to interact and work with others appropriately
    Required Experience/Training & Qualifications:
