Job Description
Perform secretarial duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology, insurances and optometry procedures. Duties may include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, collecting demographics, and floating to other areas as needed.

Optometric Assistant
Job Description
Duties include learning two aspects of the clinic: between front desk, optical, and teching. Willing to work between multiple positions on a daily basis

Optician
Job Description
Design, measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for client according to written optical prescription or specification. Assist patient with selecting frames. Prepare work order for optical laboratory. Verify exactness of finished lens spectacles. Adjust frame and lens position to fit for the patient.

Associate Optometrist
Job Description
Axis Vision Care is searching for a humble and qualified Optometrist to join our growing practice We have four locations located in Iowa; Washington, Williamsburg, Fairfield, and Tiffin. You will be expected to use your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality vision care to our patients.
To qualify for this role, you must be state-licensed and possess in-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders, conditions, and treatment. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is eager to grow their knowledge in all facets of our clinic.
Essential Functions:
- Create a positive and uplifting work culture
- Conduct thorough eye examinations
- Diagnose sight problems
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications
- Diagnose and treat eye disorders, eye defects, and eye diseases
- Promote eye health by educating patients on their eye care needs/options
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Record all diagnosis and treatment plans
- Assist in other areas as needed

Education
Most of the career opportunities at Axis Vision Care do not require you to have any further education other than a high school diploma. It can all be on the job training.
